Free Riverside Art and Music Festival brings together local talent on Sept. 14 – Press Enterprise – Google Alerts

Local artists who have grabbed the international spotlight will share the stage with students at the Riverside Art and Music Festival.

It takes place 4-10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, near City Hall at Nine and Orange streets in downtown Riverside.

Eva and the Vagabond Tales will headline at 9 p.m., according to a news release.

Others include former Riverside’s Got Talent winners Kayley Serrano, Katie Savage, and Chelsea Snow, who recently performed in a Beijing music competition.

Disc jockey Marc Goldstein, who performs as Birdmantastique and has been featured in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, will be the opening act.

Participating schools include Encore Junior and Senior High School for the Arts and Notre Dame, Ramona, and Riverside Poly high schools.

The event will also feature activities such as a chalk art area for all ages, the news release said.

The Riverside Arts Council and the Riverside Downtown Partnership are partnering on the event.
