Meet and mingle
Transitions Life Center will hold an Ice Cream Meet and Mingle Social from 1-2:30 p.m. Friday at Church of Hope, 3233 SE Maricamp Road, Ocala. Transitions Life Center is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide a safe, caring and enriching community for intellectually disabled adults. RSVP is required. Art of aging
Marion Senior Services and the Marion Cultural Alliance will hold an Art of Aging series. The opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Brick City Center for the Arts, 23 SW Broadway St., Ocala. This program celebrates aging through art, stories and education. The final concerts in the Levitt AMP Music Series will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center, 1501 W. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. This concert will feature Kaleta and the Super Yamba Band as the headliner with Shine and the Shakers as the opening act. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
